Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape

Escape can mean so many things, but to me freedom is what it says most. So for this weeks challenge, I have focused on escaping to freedom.

This photo shows the start of a balloon race, just after they escaped from the hands of the local school children. The colours are representative of the house colours, yellow being the house of my daughter.

A time when I felt freedom was during our holiday to Canada in 2011. Although I was with my children, I was without my husband, and so free from ‘the other half’. This beautiful view was taken whilst being driven in a speedboat out in the open water of one of Canada’s lakes.

Being on water,  you are able to escape everyday life and enjoy the freedom of the open sea, and this photo was taken on board my parents yacht just off the Dorset coast.
