You can only wait so long for a company to deliver your order! So having given up on ever receiving my order of darkroom chemicals and equipment, I decided to take a different path.

I discovered some premixed C41 chemicals, and a daylight developing tank from the 70’s, and decided these could be an easier solution for me to dabble in developing films taken on my La Sardina lomography camera. Continue reading

Hate waiting…

With film processing becoming a dying facility in my local town, the first two films I took were developed at the Lomography Shop near Spittalfields Market. I have since put another two films through my La Sardina, with another on the go, as well as one in my SuperSampler!

Having researched online and locally, it became clear that I wasn’t going to find anywhere to process my films and leave the negative strip intact, unless I wish to pay to travel, and park, and then wait around… each time I finish a film. Or post the film off and put my trust in the postal system… and then wait! As a result I ordered some ‘darkroom’ equipment and chemicals to ‘give it a go’ myself! That was last Sunday!

Well… they promised delivery in 3-5 days! But then I received an email to say that some items were out of stock and they couldn’t tell me how long it would take to get them in!!! Not amused!!!

I contact them and I’ve now been told they should be able to get my order out next week… but I hate waiting and I want to play!!
